Welcome to Feyi Afuape who signed on a one month loan deal from Barnsley earlier on in October.
The 16 year-old forward started the FA Trophy game against Bamber Bridge and has come off the bench in several of our matches.

The club have given away a whopping 500 season tickets to three junior football clubs to distribute to their youth players! The project forms part of the clubs attempts to forge closer links with the community and attract a new generation of supporters, whom we want to be part of the new and exciting future. The pilot scheme, which was taken up by three local junior clubs, will hopefully result in a number of new spectators at home games and if successful may be rolled out to a wider audience. Is there a chance we could extend Leo Farrell’s load period from Barnsley ?? Definitely think he would be a big asset for rest of season when fully fit.

I suppose his injury reduces the chance of him being sent to a higher level, but is he going to be fully fit again this season? Seems to be one of those who breaks down every time he tries to come back.
We need someone like him. It's the biggest weakness in the squad at the moment.

"Guiseley AFC would like to bring to the attention of all fans, the recent updating of the Club’s Ground Regulations, in light of an unsavoury incident which occurred recently.
The Club would like to remind all fans that by purchasing a ticket to a match you agree with, and will abide by all of these regulations.
Failure to do so, will result in you being removed from the ground for the duration of the match and may result in a longer ban.
Ignorance is not an acceptable defence, Regulations 10 and 24 have been most significantly amended; the Club would also like to draw attention to Regulation 21, which relates to photographs and filming."
What was the unsavoury incident this is referring to? More peeing in the keepers water bottle?

Was there a little bit of bad behaviour at the Hebburn match? There were a couple of things that seemed to happen during and after but they were too far away from me to see what.

When I was leaving after the Prescot game via the Railway End, the kiddies were amongst the away supporters winding them up. Fair dues to the Prescot supporters, they tolerated them.
I am concerned that some away fans are not so tolerant, and some young kids are going to get badly hurt, and it's going to reflect very badly on the club. We've seen away fans reacting to provocation in recent times, but fortunately the children put in sprint performances worthy of Usain Bolt. The trouble is, they potentially endanger innocent parties standing nearby if they are chased.
The kids see on social media hooliganism as a glamorous past-time - the "Ultras", the hooligan "Firms" etc. that apparently act with impunity, and they try and emulate them. They are not aware of the beatings suffered or the prison sentences imposed that I remember form the 70s, 80s and 90. Given that the kids are the future for the club, perhaps that message should be reinforced?

Completely agree - but we seem to only have these 'children' attend our games when Leeds and Bradford are playing away or there is an International break? Given the policy the club has on being accompanied by an adult to enter the ground I really think we need to review whether this is working. I have been quite vocal in the past about the segregation policy and had never had an 'official' response from anyone at the club. I sit in the same seat every week when its a supposedly segregated game all I see is opposing fans being waved through the gates to access the food and beer that is on offer and then waved back through the gates again to sit where or stand wherever they like.

Given that the kids are the future for the club, perhaps that message should be reinforced? Where are the stewards. What is the club doing about the issue. When we were having an issue a year ago the club made a big deal of increased stewarding and police presence. It was really successful.. so the club decides the problem is gone and everything goes back how it was. Then the problems start again. Against Prescot there were no stewards in that area of the ground. It doesn't take rocket science to know that trouble is likely when the away side is shooting towards the railway end as the away fans locate behind the goal they are attacking next to the youngsters. No stewards anywhere near and if there are there is no intervention when issues start. The club were too slow to respond last year, it took months before they had proper stewarding in place and measures in place to manage the u18s attending. We are back there again and I don't see anything beyond an update to ground regulations. No point in that if no-one is policing it.
