A fantastic win on the road! A much improved performance on the last few weeks, a really tight first half and the same in the second 45 before a mad spell involving three red cards. We had some good chances in the first 10 minutes, Whitham came close and Ible saw a shot go just wide. Qasim fired over when one on one with Thompson before White almost scored but for an excellent block by Emery. Whitham was oh so unlucky with a shot from 25 yards out which smacked the bar with Thompson helpless. Cassidy was next to force Thompson into a good stop before Ackroyd followed in on the rebound but he was flagged for offside. Emery caused problems with his long throw but Warrington were coping with the pressure. The second 45 started in a similar nature to the first. It was very tight but the game took a weird turn ten minutes into the second half. Thompson saw red for an off field incident with the fans after a long stoppage. Substitute keeper Hall made his impact on the game with a good double stop to deny Cassidy and Qasim! Into the final 10 and Ible had the best chance of the game to break the deadlock but shot over. Then a free kick on the edge of the box was well taken by Whitham to beat Hall and break the deadlock in injury time. There was still time for Amis to see red for an off the ball incident with Trenerry. Daly then got a second booking for a late challenge. It brought to an end a dramatic second 45 with The Lions in the hat for the Isuzu FA Trophy third round draw! An excellent performance. Well played Guiseley! Onto Liversedge away next week. Come on Guiseley! AB

Good performance by Guiseley yesterday. Good contest between two evenly matched sides. If the allegations are true and I suspect they are after seeing the video footage this spoilt what was a very enjoyable day. I didn’t witness the despicable act of the disgusting individual but if it’s found to be a Guiseley fan he should be banned for life and handed over to the relevant authorities. Embarrassed to be a Guiseley fan if this turns out to be true.

Think the club need to act swiftly to demonstrate they will along with Warrington fully investigate what happened as currently the club and its supporters are being shown in a very poor light on social media.

The whole thing is upsetting. I’ve seen the video on social media. It’s appalling to see the drink swapped - and it’s irrelevant as to whether it’s tango or urine it is wrong.
It’s horrendous to be duped into consuming anything against your will. You never know just how serious the consequences might be.
That said I don’t think the goalkeepers reaction helped. The bottle was the only evidence that would have proved whether it was urine or something else - and from my viewpoint it looked like he sprayed the bottle at the fans behind the goal indiscriminately so the referee had no option but to send him off.
As ever fault isn’t a one way street. Warrington must also take action to address their stewarding. No one should be entering the pitch like this without being spotted, the video shows just how inadequate that wall is. That person should have been seen to be entering the pitch and the bottle removed by a steward long before this became an incident. I’m not sure the aftermath will reflect well on the home club either.
I don’t recognise the individual in that social media video and I worry that we, and non-league clubs generally, might find we get more new ‘fans’ of this type during the World Cup break.

So sick of these idiots trashing our club’s reputation. If this fool and his friends travelled on the coach they’ll be known to us and should be banned from that and Nethermoor for life.

Agree with all comments regarding the peegate issue and in addition he should be named and shamed, be made to apologise to both clubs and the goalkeeper. Certainally should be banned from all football grounds - it is scum like this that brings disrepute to all clubs.

IF it is proven that what is being said is true I agree with everyone that it is disgusting and there is no place at Guiseley for anyone who would do a thing like that but firstly, where were the stewards when this lad was allowed to climb over onto the pitch more than once. Secondly, why did the goalie take another drink from the bottle if it had a pollutant in it, also why didn’t he keep hold of it as evidence instead of emptying the contents out over spectators and then throwing the bottle into the crowd. It seems to me the verdict is being delivered before the trial has started. Everything that is said on social media and plastered over the papers comes from what the goalkeeper says. I do hope that someone does get to the bottom of this and IF true the culprit is punished and not just by banning from grounds but more severely, it is an assault. Also that the goalie isn’t suffering any Ill affects and gets medical advice.

I completely disagree with absolutely everything the kid has done. I sat on the coach and was in distance with him, as were 7-8 other lads.. I think to say his friends or any of the younger generation who were on the coach to be banned for “life” is just wrong. The person who committed the crime will be banned. I’ve never gone to the footie and caused trouble or thought about urinating in a keepers bottle. Me and my mates go to cheer on the lads and have a good day out. Totally unjust to call for everyone to be banned.

Was at the game yesterday and didn’t see the incident in the first half when the keepers bottle was stolen or the incident in the second half when the bottle was switched. But the video going round is pretty damming. I hope the individual who did this is caught and handed over to the police. We do not need this kind of bad publicity at Guiseley it’s only a matter of time before someone gets badly injured because of the behaviour of a mindless idiot. I’m all for banter between the fans and the players as it was yesterday between us and the keeper but that incident is something Guiseley as a club doesn’t need. Sad end to what was a very enjoyable day.

I have travelled to many games with you and your mates and not had any trouble. But it’s the so called hangers on that are the ones that seem to be causing the trouble. Don’t know what the solution is but banning all the young ones is not the way.

I don’t think anyone would ever support a blanket ban Josh. I agree with what you say in that punishment should, rightly, only be directed at those who have committed the actions.
