Prince is a brilliant addition to the side, he ran a very good George Cantrill close for the awards in the 21/22 season.
Looking forward to seeing him back in a Guiseley shirt again. AB

Still hoping we can somehow entice Lebby back to Nethermoor.

Perhaps Mr Phillips could inquire as to the availability as to Connor Brown, George Cantrill and Aaron Martin. To paraphrase the Blues Brothers, "We're getting a decent team back together..."

(That’s how we started last season, though, isn’t it?)
Prince is a great addition and it’s helpful to see Telford fans praising his work rate which suggests he’s the same player as when he left us.
So far we appear to be looking at top of the table standard players coming in, which I like.

Another new Lion in through the door, welcome to Guiseley Tom Pratt: guiseleyafc.co.uk/lions-secure-tom-pratt-signature/Tom has been with Hyde for the past six seasons and is a fan favourite with the Tigers faithful. He can play in central midfield, behind the striker or on the wing. Welcome to Guiseley Tom! AB

Some solid signings coming in. I think we've got a really solid spine of a team already. Needs something on the wings and an out and out striker and we've the makings of a good side.

And it was all going so well... such a shame to lose Cam Mason. If he want's to go though, he wants to go. Hopefully we got a good fee for him. Can't imagine they are paying out fortunes though.
Not sure what to think about Laurence Sorhaindo. It looks like he's had issues with injuries through his career and barely played last season. When fit he's scored at the level below and looking at some of his goals from 21/22 he's strong, quick and can finish. Could be just what we need if he can make the step up and stays fit.

Scott Bakkor also gone, signed for Warrington Rylands. Huh, so he has. Missed that one. He was on a contract wasn’t he? So there’ll have been a bit of cash in that one for us, I expect. Same as Cam (who I am disappointed is leaving)

Confirmation that Cam Mason has joined Curzon Ashton for an undisclosed fee: guiseleyafc.co.uk/cam-mason-sold-to-curzon-ashton/ Cam was clearly a big part of Phillips' plans for next season but if a player expresses a desire to leave then I think it's best for all parties that it happens, subject to an appropriate fee being received which it sounds like has happened in this instance. Welcome to Nethermoor Laurence Sorhaindo: guiseleyafc.co.uk/striker-sorhaindo-added-to-lions-squad/The 25 year-old striker has been at Brighouse for the past couple of seasons after coming through Bradford City's youth setup, he has also played for Silsden and Campion since leaving Valley Parade. “I was attracted by the size of the club, the excellent playing surface and the infrastructure. Everyone has heard of Guiseley AFC and I am looking forward to playing for them.” Read more from Laurence in Rachel's piece on the link above. AB

AB Not wanting to nit-pick to much but for clarity.. it says he scored 23 goals last season. This was last season in relation to the season just gone (I would say 22/23 now counts as last season though). He scored 5 in 12 games in 22/23 but was out injured for the majority. If he had scored 23 last season I'd be more excited about the new Aaron Martin (he may yet be that.. we are in pre-season and don't need to back up dreams for the new season with any reality). I only point this out because it took me a load of poking around on the internet to work this out. Apparently Brighouse are not well documented..

Thanks for the research, but you've not dampened my hopes, Andy. You're not describing the next Aaron Martin... you're describing a major breakout season where he could've been picked up by a bigger club, followed by injury and a handful of good performances before indeed being picked up by a bigger club. So, you're actually telling me he's the next Lewis Whitham
