I've not been to any games this season. For various reasons. I was pretty sad when we sacked the Dannys last season. And I honestly can't see how we're better off now than we were then. Even when Kitty came in for the relegation in which he gave us a fighting chance, there was a feel good factor. When we announced Danny Ellis and Danny Forrest there was a feel good factor. There isn't one now. It's really sad to see where we are now. It's not been good.... I think Danny's appointment was with the heart and unfortunately didn't work out. I presume something happened behind closed doors for him to go so quickly. Paul was a sensible appointment. He had a track record at this level and I bought into it. I was happy to ignore the tepid performances in the latter stages of last season, it wasn't his team.. happy to ignore the constant merry-go round of players, putting it down to having to make do after a poor summers transfers.. happy to accept the direct and often aimless football played, it will be better with the right players.. maybe not happy but ignored the calling out of players in public. The manager has written a lot of cheques last season that are coming back to haunt him now. I think we'd have been okay with this start to the season if it weren't for the above.. not happy but we would have accepted it.

Announcements from the club usually come after Thursday night training, am I the only one who is holding their breath. What we can't take are any more exits Tuesday proved that.

What’s that phrase…oh yes, “Why do we put ourselves through this?” (…over and over etc!) What can you recommend for those considering kicking the ‘habit’ (pun intended), and going ‘cold turkey’? And, don’t say, ‘keep fit’, ‘gardening’ or shopping with your partner in town on Saturdays?!! Mmmm……. Nah, what’s that next match?!! PS: We need a bit more than just ‘bon chance’! Adieu, mon ami!

If we had lost all 8 games we have played this season then I would have been discouraged. Having seen most of the games this season I can see improvement in nearly all of them in different departments. Think when we are able to get a settled team we will be getting the wins we deserve. Too early to be thinking of a management change. Onwards and upwards.

Dont agree with “its too soon to make management changes”. You are right we haven’t lost every game, but every game we have struggled to score goals and it hasn’t been pleasant to watch us hoof the ball up the pitch time and time again. It’s not fun being a Guiseley supporter this season and that’s down to how we are playing and the injuries sustained and players booked. If we leave it much longer we won’t be able to get back on track. We’ve left it too late before and suffered the consequences.

Firmly agree with Lioncub but Tugger you are entitled to your opinion. Hopefully Stacey and Chips fit for Saturday and Ekpolo continues to have game time along with Courtney. Brown and Keenan back from suspension and no more injuries picked up in training. Will be more than interested to see what team is put out for this cos on paper there really shouldn't be a problem. We will see.
