The retained list has been announced today: guiseleyafc.co.uk/23-24-retained-list/Players retained on contract/options exercised – Ollie Brown, Reece Kendall, Jameel Ible, Gabriel Johnson, Lewis Whitham and Prince Ekpolo. Players made offers of re-engagement – Ollie Battersby, Leigh Whelan and Kallan Murphy. Players invited pre-season training – Foley Nkem, Hagie Damba, Jack Mason, K’Marni Miller, Kyle Burrows, Laurence Sorhaindo, Miguel Valsau and Sam Walters. Players released/signed elsewhere – Josh Ashman (Matlock), Adam Dawson, Callum Chippendale, Tom Denton, Tom Pratt, Liam Tongue (Stalybridge), Aiden Walker and Jordi Nsaka. Loan players returning to parent clubs – Luke Mariette, Michael Afuye, Kofi Moore and Luke Partington. Welcome back Lebrun Mbeka! The utility player has returned for his third spell with the club and has said: "I am coming home, back to where I belong" Mark Bower added: "Lebrun is a player proven at a higher level and we have done well to bring him back to the club. He is a top, top player who can play either in midfield or in defence." Jameel Ible has received a call up for St Kitts & Nevis to play in their World Cup qualification campaign.
Jameel played 90 minutes in a defeat to Costa Rica and was an unused substitute in last night’s 0-0 draw with the Bahamas.

Both Kallan Murphy and Leigh Whelan have not taken up a new contract offer made by the club and have instead signed for Marine, thanks for the past 1 and a half years lads and good luck for the future!
