Surprised to see Kaine Felix has now signed for Darlington which is a fair commute from Peterborough if he has not moved and goes against what was said that PA was the perfect place for him.

Geography is not my strong suit. Maybe it isn't Kaine's either

Wowsers I hope a. PS got a fee and b. Darlo are providing accommodation and c. Darlo are paying proper wages because that’s a hec of a commute for training

Makes you wonder if he's joined a team that will be challenging for honours as Darlo have always promised much but delivered very little over the past few seasons. We've already put three past them pre-season and our Academy gave them a game last season when our first team squad had covid.

Are Darlo pro? If so, the lure of a professional contract might make the difference.
I think those sort of town clubs are always going to be a draw, whether or not they are likely to win anything.

I actually went to Darlington's game today. They looked a good side. Lawlor and Purver did their things and Felix came on and scored (a typical nice bit of footwork followed by an untypical blast into the net rather than over it).

Good luck to Kaine at Darlington, he scored on his debut and seems popular with the fans up there and he will be a good player for them.
In other news Dec Lambton has joined Emley AFC, good luck Dec! AB

Think the Danny’s have done a great job pulling this squad together. My only concern is if Jake Cassidy gets injured for any length of time we only have an inexperienced Adam Haw to fall back on.
Our relegation last season was because we didn’t score enough goals and had very limited striking options. I really hope we don’t fall into the same trap again this year

And we have a number of midfielders so hopefully one or two could cover up front if need be.
