We signed Frank Worthington when he was 41years old. If this new lad is good enough to even clean the boots of Frank in his prime, then he'll be worth the price of a season ticket alone.
I'm having horrible visions that for the foreseeable future, there will be hundreds of aging, portly blokes turning up in boots and sweating in over-stretched replica shirts, in anticipation of the unlikely event that at least 6 members of the squad fail to turn up just before kick off.

Frank made 29 appearancess and scored 13 goals into the bargain, including a hat-trick against Thackley on his 1989/90 Guiseley debut, his only ever hat-trick on a debut for the many clubs he played for.

You don't already do that? Unfortunately they don't make a replica shirt big enough, even at maximal stretch. |

Frank made 29 appearancess and scored 13 goals into the bargain, including a hat-trick against Thackley on his 1989/90 Guiseley debut, his only ever hat-trick on a debut for the many clubs he played for. I saw him only once for Birmingham vs West Ham. He came on as a sub in the second half with Birmingham 1-0 down. He barely moved from the centre circle, stroking the ball all around, totally commanding the game. Then, without apparently leaving the centre circle (this is where my memories become a little unclear) he dribbled around 23 players (including his own) before unleashing a rocket into the top corner of the net. He was class unto himself, and a privilege to watch. |

Great to see we've signed up Cam Mason on a permanent deal. He's been absolute class since he joined us.

Remember that game well. A great free kick in that hat-trick. Whatever he lacked in pace he more than made up for in skill. He hadn't lost any of his ability. Doing keepy uppies before kick off and catching the ball behind his neck. And he had a very attractive partner who used to sit on the wall to watch too. |

Saw Frank score against Bridlington ( can't remember if it was Town or Trinity ) but he hit a cracker from around the edge of the penalty area and was already celebrating the goal before ball went past the keeper - pure class !!
