Lebrun seemed a lovely fella but I don't think he is one I will lose too much sleep over. Not his fault really, like Nik mentions he never got a run in one position. I think last season he played every position bar goalkeeper.
I always thought he'd have been forward we needed to play off a quick stricker. He was big with good feet. When he got played there towards the end of the season I though he looked decent.

Liked Lebrun as player and person. Thought he gave his all no matter where he played. Came from Tadcaster I think so a move to Boston is positive but hope Cox uses him effectively rather than simply as a target for the “get it in the mixer” from Nicholson. The problem appears to be what is his position. I thought he was very good at Wimbledon playing off the main striker I’d play him as CM/AM Anyways good luck Lebrun

I also wonder how long our retained list will be….

Wahey, we signed an actual goalie of our very own! I suspect last season was a good example of why a permanently signed keeper is a good idea. Even though Owen Mason turned out to be great, we had to go through a few to get there!

Yeah and he’s proven at NLN and he’s known to Danny (E). Good choice.

Kaine Felix has signed for Peterborough Sports. Disappointing again from the club that we are having to find these out via other clubs twitter feeds. Poor communication with the fans.

Kaine Felix has signed for Peterborough Sports. Disappointing again from the club that we are having to find these out via other clubs twitter feeds. Poor communication with the fans. Sad to see Kaine move on but it is hardly a surprise in my view. A talented player who will understandably want to play at the highest level. Given he is from that area I think Peterborough Sports was a likely outcome (can’t see him fitting in with Boston now - he’d need to grow another 3 feet). Not sure that criticism of the club is fair in this instance. You have to be realistic I’m afraid. Players make their own decisions and now that social media is so instant sometimes the club - like us all - find out the outcome via others as well. Hopefully we will see some more new signings this week.

Not surprised that Kaine has moved on. It was a heck of a commute for him. I’m surprised he stayed as long as he did. If honest, I’d have thought he could do better than Peterborough Sports. Anyways wish him well. He deserves to play football at a higher level.

Yeah, not a surprise. Cuts his commute to zero, and keeps him at NLN level, which is where he ought to be. His chance of a move further upward was probably about a year ago, so this is as good a move as he could’ve hoped for I suspect.
And he was out of contract - it’s down to him and the club he joins when and how to announce the deal, nothing to do with us any more I’m afraid.
Good luck, Kaine. I quite liked Peterborough Sports when we played them a couple of years ago (although not the result). Chatted with the chairman, who told me all about their plans to expand. They were a club no bigger than ourselves with ambition and a solid plan. Kaine’ll do fine there.

Would just like to thank Felix for all the good times he’s given us always 100%.

Sad to see Kaine leave the club but it was something I felt was going to happen even before the relegation when Russ and Marcus departed, it is clear from his interviews his relationship with them was a huge factor in what has kept him with us for so long.
This move makes perfect sense for him, its on his doorstep and in the same league he played in last season.
Thank you for everything Kaine and good luck for your future career. AB

It's the move I'd have made if I was Kaine Felix. From day one looked like he had something in him, but when you spoke to people at his previous clubs (usually 2 per season before joining us) they questioned his attitude. I'd remember his time at the club as:
Season 1 - brilliant against Cambridge, went missing immediately afterwards (a period of being present in body only and a period of injury), returning in April Season 2 - very good from November onwards Season 3 - under a lot of pressure as the only goal threat Season 4 - missed a lot through injury, suspect he played when far from 100% because we were desperate

I'll never forget how exciting Kaine was as "the unknown trialist". He played 3 or 4 friendlies as a trialist and was the shining light that pre-season.
Let face it, he's been a stand out for us over the past four seasons and this season might have been a different story if we could have got him fit.
His Mum(?) was sat behind me in the final home game and was talking to someone saying his agent was looking for a move for him, so not much of a surprise.
