Having listened to the first half and to hear of the problems caused by the young hooligans ,I can see there will be more comments about them rather the game. They have affected our players' concentration hence we are losing instead of winning. The club has to do more including looking at security. So, so disappointing!

On the game, fought hard with ten men against a decent side.
3 questions someone associated with the club may care to answer?
Was the ticketing policy for youth ls in place today? What happened at 35 minutes in shouldn’t have.
What percentage of the bar takings do the club receive from all the beer swilled? If none why sell it,? Some of us come to watch the game, not come for a swill. Not sure of the ID policy, I arrived at the turnstiles and a lad that looked about fifteen was outside with a pint in hand.
What about segregation? Given the ridiculous antics of some our so called supporters.

These issues need sorting. Two stewards to police all those kids and all the away supporters is not enough. It was clear what was happening for 20 minutes and nothing got done until it escalated. No good the police popping in half an hour later. No good having more stewards after the fact.
The club need to spend the money and properly police this with appropriate numbers of steward visibly and having a police presence throughout. It's clear they need a no u18s unaccompanied by an adult policy. What good does restricting them to buying online do.

Ridiculous.

A disappointing afternoon on several counts.
Thought we started brightly and was feeling positive after Chippendale’s smart follow-up finish from the penalty. It seemed to unravel after that, unfortunately not helped by all the unnecessary shenanigans off the pitch which I’m convinced affected the players.
I can’t comment on the red card and their penalty as I was at the other end but Hyde were good enough to make the extra man count and we were unable to play to our full ability from then on, which was a real shame as I am sure we would have more than matched them with a full compliment.
As for the refereeing performance- I would say inadequate probably be generous.
On the crowd issues, I am not fully convinced the new policy regarding unaccompanied under 18s had the desired effect. I appreciate it has only been one match, but I wonder if the club’s hand might be forced into additional measures if this continues further (although not entirely sure what those would be).

Some parents in the area should be asking some serious questions of their sons/daughters wherabouts on a Saturday afternoon. The club should put more security in place - I know its a sad state of affairs but these hoolies are bringing the club a bad name - do they even watch the game ??I am sure a lot of it is pre-organised via social media etc As for the game pity we went down to 10 men but it was a bridge too far after that even though we showed plenty of spirit.

So so sad to see our family friendly club being dragged into the gutter by these mindless hooligans. We need swift action which on my view is : Ban unaccompanied under 18s. Segregation at all games ( so we don't have gangs of youths patrolling round the ground , showing little interest in watching the match) Police presence until things calm down.
I love my club, but this has to stop and swift action has to be taken otherwise true supporters will stop coming. What the good people of Guiseley must think of us right now I don’t know.

That was no fun at all. It was clear there would be crowd trouble form minute 1, which spoiled the atmosphere. The game itself was pretty good for the first part, but the referee gradually lost control and spoiled that too. The idiots in the crowd certainly affected our players. I don't think there's an easy answer to this problem, but action needs to be taken because people have already stopped coming and I'm close to giving up too.
It's clear Hyde are a good team, but they were falling over a bit too easily for my liking and the ref bought it. The new right back was naive to say the least and although I thought he got the ball in the challenge that led to the penalty, he probably could have left it alone rather than give the ref the decision to make. Playing with 10 against a good side like that was nearly impossible.
Good fightback and spirit from our lads though right to the end, so there's at least a crumb of comfort to take from the game. I think we're still in with a shout of the play-offs.

I agree that something needs to be done, and I am with you in wanting the best for the club, so i think we probably need to try everything and see what works. That said, some of those morons were over 18, so banning under 18s probably won't work. Also, asking the volunteers on the turnstiles to check IDs is not great for them. Segregation is a good idea, but it has to be enforced and our stewarding company are quite happy to let anybody through the gates on segregated games. The morons will probably start fighting among themselves anyway. What actually, eventually, calmed the situation down today was police presence and that is where i think the club should invest. The trouble with that is the cost, but at some point the club need to realise the problem is not going away and is getting worse, so the longer it takes to resolve, the more it will cost in the long term.

I came to the game today expecting a good football match between current league leaders and a rapidly improving Guiseley side and was looking forward to it so so disappointed. Firstly I have watched football for over 60 yrs from what is now premiership down and seen referees of every ability. The ones taking premiership games are now full time professionals and now with the aid of VAR so if they make a mistake or bad decision it can be corrected then and there.Other then a refs report on the bookings which we never see and the clubs only if they appeal what sort of justice do we get when a referee has been conned by a very switched on team who exploited him. We need a fourth official at every game. Sorry this is going to be a long post. It was obvious before the game kicked off that the club had not taken the hooligan element seriously. Really they can't go into George Stocks stand so they congregate to the side with one steward having a good lean on the barrier watching liquids and missiles being lobbed back and forth. Eventually joined by one small female. This situation was only resolved when older Hyde supporters decided to take them on and they scattered like the scared cowardly schoolboys they are. Really Guiseley is the around £150 income from these morons really worth the clubs reputation.

A final thought on this. Maybe the FA should be following the lead of Rugby ,the lower divisions that don't have VAR,the only player who is allowed to approach the referee is the team captain, if this is not adhered to then any player from either side is sin binned for 5-10 minutes. Do you reckon this might stop the players/teams who are constantly in the refs ear.

Spirited performance against a side which i thought were better than shields . Poor ref. I thought Philips may have been sent to the stand for the second half ? Was he sent off? Some sympathy for the club re the mini hooligans the club tried to be reasonable this week but its not worked . I thought there were more than ever of them .Maybe the club will have to say under 18 accompanied by an adult either on the day or in advance . I persomally would not like every game segregated, Better to ban the mini hooligans because they just cause problems for all.

I asked a posse of the kids after the game just what they thought that behaviour had contributed to the game got the usual"it wasn't us" My dad raised 4 boys and 5 girls. Advice to my brothers if you run with wolves, you're a wolf. To me and my sisters, I'm not going to dictate how you do or don't go out dressed but if you get unwelcome attention from men you deal with it. Not very PC advise in this day and age but it worked.

Thankfully I was far away from the shenanigans of today and from the comments made on here.I think the club should abolish the reduced admission charge for youths and stop the sales and consumption of alcohol within the ground. I have no doubt that we are heading towards sanctions from the FA and the club needs to act swiftly and decisively on this matter.
